Georgetown’s trip to the DECA State Career Development Conference at the Boston Seaport was a success!
Over 4000 high school students and their advisors/chaperones will gathered for 3 days to compete in over 50 business competitions. The competitions focused on marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, business administration & hospitality marketing. Over 250 adults from the professional world will evaluated our students.
While our students did not come home with any awards this year, they were incredibly well-behaved, respectful, and strong competitors.
I have to say this is one of the best groups of students I’ve had the opportunity to take on these trips, as they represented GMHS and our Georgetown community extremely well.
