Spotlight on Excellence
Members of the High School Links Program, with Mrs. Amy Sandersoon, came to my office to hang the student art work on Monday. It was a great visit with an inspiring conversation of where the school can go and what kind of academic and elective offerings would interest our young people!
The Profile of Learner Student led group joined the Essex County Learning Community this week to analyze the data collected from over 90 student, teacher and community members interviews and focus groups. They were the only students for the full day workshop and collaborated with administrators and teachers from North Andover, Peabody and Pentucket. They represented Georgetown at the highest level!

- Thank you Lisa Spencer, Head Custodian, for being observant and noticing a leaking fire sprinkler pipe and notified the Director of Operations immediately. Her quick action let a small leak get repaired quickly and not become a big problem. This is a reminder that attention to detail matters! A huge Shout Out to Lisa!
April vacation is a perfect time to catch our collective breaths, enjoy being outside and prepare for the excitement and activities of the school year ending. I wish our entire community a well deserved break and look forward to finishing the academic year strong!
