My School Bucks
MySchoolBucks is a convenient service that allows parents to pay for extra school meals and snacks securely online. Whether you’re at home or on the go, you can use MySchoolBucks to add money to your student’s meal account using a credit card, debit card, or electronic check. Additionally you can track cafeteria purchases and receive low balance alerts.
While student’s first school breakfast and lunch are free, MSB will be accepting payments for the purpose of second lunches at both schools and snacks at GMHS.
Please note, WE ALWAYS TAKE CASH AND CHECKS at the register! With cash, change can be given or put on the student’s account.

Student Allergies
Student safety is our top priority. If your child has a food allergy or requires a special diet, please notify the school nurse and the Food Services Department. We work closely with families to accommodate dietary needs and ensure that meals are safe and nutritious for all students. Meal Modification Request Forms can be found here. School Wellness Policy
Children spend most of their day at school. So, it’s important that they have healthy foods and drinks while they are there. Good nutrition also helps kids learn better at school. Our school wellness policy tells how our school is making the healthy choice, the easy choice for kids. Meal Charge Policy
Georgetown Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs and has adopted a local Meal Charge Policy in accordance with state and federal regulations. The policy outlines procedures for meal payments, handling unpaid meal charges, and ensuring that all students have access to nutritious meals without stigma. The Georgetown Food Service Department is excited to serve healthy and delicious breakfast and lunch to all students in the district. Exciting news…every student is eligible to receive one breakfast and one lunch at no charge every school day!
While lunch is universally free for all students, we encourage families to apply for free or reduced priced meals as this application also determines eligibility for other benefits including athletic fees, exam fees, and other scholarships. In order for the Food Service Department to share this information with other departments for these benefits, you must submit the Sharing Permission Form.

Free and Reduced Price Meal Benefits are strictly confidential to protect the privacy of those who participate. If you would like us to share your family’s benefit status with select administrators to see if you qualify for additional benefits in the district, complete the Application and Sharing Form and send them to the Food Service Office, Perley School, 51 North Street, Georgetown, MA 01833.
The Georgetown Food Service Department is excited to offer free breakfast and lunch to our preschoolers. Exciting news…every student is eligible to receive one breakfast and one lunch at no charge every school day!
Beginning in School Year 2026, preschool students will not be required to pre-order their meals. Any preschooler who wishes to have breakfast and/or lunch at school will have the opportunity to do so. Meal orders will be collected by classroom teachers, following the same process used for the rest of the school.
The preschool menu is posted above under Penn Brook menus. It is similar to the elementary menu but has been slightly modified to meet age-appropriate nutrition and safety requirements.
Non-Discrimination Statement

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
